A harmonious wine from old, ungrafted vines in the Portz plot, a south-west-facing elevated site. Loose bunches prevented the development of botrytis, but there is a hint of it here, giving a touch of richness to this rounded intense wine, full of cool green fruit with spice notes and a long smoky slaty finish.
