Description
A single-vineyard Barolo from Novello, at the southern end of the region. It is a clay-rich, cooler vineyard facing south-west towards the river. Less time in oak than in the past has had a clear effect: the fruit is fresher and more forward, the tannins, though still powerful, more delicate and fine, and there is an appealing vein of juicy acidity running through to the long powerful finish
