We don’t just supply restaurants; we also work with some of the best wine shops the UK has to offer. The Good Wine Shop is a dynamic, energetic independent wine shop that lives by the motto “Good Wine | Real People | Great Stories”.
Having won Best London Neighbourhood Wine Shop 2020 at the Decanter Retailer Awards and the Best London Wine Shop Award in 2019, the team at The Good Wine Shop certainly knows what they’re about. They are always looking for new wines with real people behind them.
Here at The Good Wine Shop, we have a particularly fond affection for the range and breadth of the sensational German wines supplied to us by Howard Ripley but, more recently, have started to delve into some of their tremendous Italian range.
- Some of the highlights of our year are the tastings that we hold for our en primeur releases. As many of our trade customers know, these are great opportunities to search out new wines and to keep your finger on the pulse.
At the risk of upsetting our many other suppliers, the Howard Ripley tasting events are the best in the business; spacious, civilised and Sebastian and Ziggy brilliantly judge the amount of time you want to engage with them.
Besides staff trainings, we are delighted to facilitate customer tastings with our wine shop partners when possible, and occasionally even have a winemaker in tow for them!
