Description
The Hermesdorfen is an ancient vineyard with a stellar reputation. One of its sub-plots is the south-facing Levá Bavorská, the source of this top Welschriesling. Replanted in 2008, the vineyard demonstrates what made it so famous in the past, producing a fresh, vibrant wine with citrus fruit, green herbal flavours and a hint of toast and butter (courtesy of some batonnage) on a stony finish.
