More clay in the soil gives a smoother, denser wine. The tannins are a little firmer than the Kammerberg, but the fruit is correspondingly richer, with a hint of blackcurrant behind the fresh red berries, and a hint of chocolate too. It is silky, pure and seductive, with an animating energy driving it to a long stony finish. Quite brilliant! Drink 2025 – 2035
