Named after Marek’s grandmother, the single vineyard that is the source of this wine survived the move to international varieties. Its poor soils are planted with Leánka of the softer Alba variety, now over fifty years old. Its wine is distinctive, characterful, and creamy, full of earthy skin-contact flavours and notes of cinnamon, cloves and pine needles, finishing on a tangy, smoky note.
