Description
From time to time, Martin and Vlado keep back some of their more promising wines to see how they develop. Occasionally they release them into the wild and when they let us taste this one, we had to have it. Low-yielding, very old vines give a wine with pithy lime and lemon flavours accompanied by ripe apple, pear and honeysuckle, and there is a smoky note from the very brief two-hour skin contact. The finish is long, fresh and smooth.
