Description
Some time ago Géza was advised to get rid of his parcel in Bomboly: its proximity to the forest meant that deer and wild boar were feasting on the fruit. Luckily, he didn’t listen, and it has become his favourite vineyard. Grapes here ripen a little later than in other plots, and the longer hang-time gives a Furmint of intensity and polish. Aged for three years in Zemplen oak and three years in bottle, it is pure and lean, with fresh cool orchard fruit and a gentle saline minerality on the long finish.
