Thomas is getting to know this famous vineyard much better now that he has a total of 2.5 hectares. He is enraptured, saying that the quality of grapes here is so high that even when less ripe they have layers of complexity of which you simply don’t find in other vineyards. Certainly, this is a cracker: vanishingly elegant and ethereal, full of juicy citrus and orchard fruit and a very finely woven dark salty mineral structure driving to a finish longer than a Kabinett has any right to.
