Lying directly between Hundertgulden and Steinacker, the fact that Honigberg is not a GG must be an oversight, one that will hopefully be rectified soon because this has all the intensity and complexity of its neighbours. The soil is a little redder here, the citrus fruit and spicy notes are joined by softer strawberry and redcurrant flavours, and there is a gentle elegant stony finish. A wine of great charm.
