Description
A slim, dark, salty wine which blossoms into something fine, graceful and seductive, with generous yellow fruit, flavours of plum cake and spice, cool herbal notes, ripe smooth acidity and a long fresh juicy finish. On a side note, I recently attended a twenty vintage vertical going back to 2002. The consistency was remarkable: though each wine showed the character of the vintage, every year the terroir shone through: even the oldest vintages were fresh, pure and elegant. It is a great vineyard. Drink 2025 – 2040
