Description
The fifteen-hectare vineyard is divided equally between red and white, with vines of many different ages. This meant that they all ripened at different times, requiring a very labour-intensive series of five different passes to catch the grapes at the perfect moment. Judging by our tasting, the domaine got it just right: it is a beautifully balanced, smooth and relaxed wine; the 25% whole-bunches give a perfumed lift to the pure red fruit, and the tannins are fresh and velvety.
