Description
The culmination of a thirty-six-year journey, begun by Pascal Marchand in 1985 when Pommard was Pommard – dense rich and tannic; the torch picked up by Benjamin Leroux, who tamed those tannins with a move to a finer, more supple wine, and now on to this – something delicate, pure, almost ethereal in its finesse. It still has power of course, but the seductive floral red fruit, elegant supple tannins and long vibrant finish are a testament to how far we have travelled. An amazing wine.
