Description
From two separate parcels, with poor volcanic soils – the Halbuck and Steinfelsen. The Halbuck is a subplot of the Herrenstück, and its highest point, with old vines in poor volcanic soils. The Steinfelsen is volcanic with limestone outcrops, also with old vines. It is a pure, backward wine, lean and silky, with enormous density and power. There is a dense knot of fresh red fruit at its core, it will be worth cellaring for some years. Drink 2029 – 2038
