Description
From old vines, planted in 1971 on thin soils over the limestone bedrock. The vineyard does not face south and ripens later – so this year was spared damage from frost. A dense knot of sweet fresh raspberry fruit, melting silky tannins and a smooth fine salty minerality make up this ball of bright energy. It is one of the best Hans-Bert has made. Drink 2026 – 2038
