Description
From the 1G sites Goldberg and Honigberg, this is classic limestone Chardonnay – lean, and pure with smoky, spicy notes and a delightfully vibrant citrus character. Toward the finish, the richness of the vintage appears but, buoyed by the fresh acidity, it is never heavy. There is more new wood here – around 40% – but it is effortlessly digested. Drink 2024 – 2028
