Description
Les Chalandins is neatly situated below Echézeaux, close to the wall of Clos Vougeot. The vines range in age from 25 to 70, and are prone to millerandage, particularly in 2019, adding an extra dimension of sweet richness to the fruit. Half the wine is fermented in whole bunches, this year giving very perfumed spicy red fruit, a powerful rich silky middle, and a very dense, smooth dark finish.
