It is a high-yielding grape – the bunches weigh around a kilo – and the fruit, left to shrivel on the vine to concentrate the flavours, is the last to be harvested in November. It is powerful, rich and very fresh, with notes of caraway, quince and almond, a smooth creamy middle and a long intense finish.
