Aux Craz is a south-facing vineyard at the top of the village with thin, hard rocky soils. The vines struggle to ripen here, and the wine is always fresh and linear – no more so than in 2021, where it is supremely elegant and fine, with intense stony flavours, bright spicy red fruit and a long powerful finish. Serious Beaujolais!
