Description
Low-yielding vines planted in the 1930s, the oldest of the domaine, are worked by horse and harvested and vinified separately. Unsurprisingly, there is more density and depth here, and a good deal more complexity to the fruit, which is full of white pepper and dark raspberry. The tannins are finely-woven and ripe, the finish long and smooth.
