Description
When first tasted in May this was yeasty and impenetrable. In the last two weeks it has emerged from its chrysalis a beautiful creature: elegant, fine and supremely relaxed, with generous peach and pear fruit, perfumed floral notes, and ripe zingy lemony acidity, underpinned by an intense dark silky slaty salty core, driving the wine to a long, almost dry finish. Leaves one breathless with admiration. Warning: if you are sharing this bottle, there is some risk of unpleasantness at the end as to who should have the last glass.
