The Helden vineyard is the heart of Schloss Lieser, its largest single holding. Helden gives powerful, mineral-driven and long-lived wines packed with flavour. This year the drive is astonishing: it is very silky but intense, smoky, saline and darkly slaty, brightened by smooth juicy peach fruit and cool lemony acidity, all seamlessly integrated. An extraordinary achievement.
