From vines planted high on the slope on very poor thin white soils, and thus not your typically powerful Rugiens. It is still big, massive and closed, with a hard edge from the rock, but it manages to be floral and elegant, with tannins so fine and energy so vibrant they lift it to the ethereal, all the while retaining a clear connection to the brooding rock beneath.
