Many parcels in various parts of the vineyard produce a widely different range of styles according to soil composition and vine age. It is surprising that these various complex elements meld so well and so quickly. In 2019 the wine is smooth and rich, with a core of compressed juicy red and black fruit, melting chocolatey tannins and a hint of spice. It appears effortless and complete, seamlessly elegant and balanced, and will age beautifully.
