Description
The last 1er cru of the Côte de Beaune, from a vineyard with white marl soils. The grapes are sourced from the top of the hill, and are always ripe, but never too much so, as the terroir lends firmness, or, as one well known wine writer put it, ‘bonesetting tannins’. There is crunchy, sweet red fruit, mild fresh tannins and hints of salty mineral, all pure and clearly delineated.
