Description

A first release of grapes from three vineyards in La Morra: Roggeri (east-facing with clay-rich soil), San Biagio (south-west facing with sandy soil) and Berlotti, in Santa Maria, each fermented separately, blended, then aged for two years in large botte. There is mouth-filling dense, scented cherry fruit, juicy ripe tannins and a soft fresh acidity and a hint of mineral that carry the fruit through to a long finish.
