2018 Felseneck Kabinett (SFRO11218A)
The first grapes to be harvested give a bright wine bursting with energy. It has a touch of yellow but consists mainly of cool, green fresh fruit with zingy citrus notes and a streak of smoky slate.
2017 Felseneck Kabinett [14 18] (SFRO11217A)
Harvested early from a parcel favoured by the afternoon sun, this year it is delicately fresh and ripe with cool green notes as well as grapefruit, lemon and riper stone-fruit in the background. It is very zingy indeed, and the minerality on the finish makes it taste almost dry. A fabulous Kabinett.
2018 Felseneck Spätlese (SFRO21218A)
35-year-old vines give a dense zingy, stony wine with floral fruit, a fresh green note, and almost effervescent lemon acidity.
2017 Felseneck Spätlese [15 18] (SFRO21217A)
Harvested two weeks later than the Kabinett from 35-year-old vines, this is zingy, cool and green with a lovely spicy mineral freshness and a flourish of ripe yellow fruit on the lemony finish.
2016 Felseneck Spätlese [16 17] (SFRO21216A)
Harvested two weeks later than the Kabinett from 35-year-old vines, this has meltingly ripe yellow fruit allied to masses of bright energy, and finishes on a strong mineral note.
2018 Felseneck Spätlese Goldkapsel (SFRO29218A)
As every year, the grapes were picked on the same day as the regular Spätlese, but from 55-year-old vines in the steepest, south-facing part of the vineyard, giving an altogether more intense wine. It is smooth, elegant and fresh, with lively green fruit and a gentle persistent spicy slate finish.
2017 Felseneck Spätlese Goldkapsel (SFRO29217A)
As every year, the grapes were picked on the same day as the regular Spätlese, but from older 55-year-old vines in the steepest, south-facing part of the vineyard, giving an altogether more intense wine. There are dark smoky slate notes, clear bright citrus flavours and a cool green spicy finish.
2018 Felseneck Auslese (SFRO33218B)
A precise wine with no botrytis, this is bright and lemony with pure yellow and green fruit and a long clean salty finish.
2017 Felseneck Auslese (SFRO33217B)
50% of very clean botrytis gives richness, but not at the expense of freshness, which it has in spades. There is yellow tropical fruit and a lovely pure minerality that lasts forever.

The ripe melon and floral fruit is full-bodied and intense, and is carried by lemony acidity, with a hint of musk and smoke on the long finish.
2017 Nahe Fröhlich Trocken [07 18] (SFRO64217A)
According to the winemaker, the most elegant estate wine he has ever made. Coming from young vines in top sites, there is lovely precision and elegance in the bright lemony fruit and the long slatey finish.

Made from young vines in top sites, this is powerful, rich and rounded, with a long vibrant finish.
2018 Vulkangestein trocken (SFRO66218A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. A cool green note freshens the rich floral fruit tinged with yellow, and there is bright acidity and a long complex hot mineral finish.

From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. Loads of energy is this fresh juicy, mineral-driven wine that has ripe citrus fruit and a long creamy finish.

From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. This is ripe and elegant, with a powerful minerality and a seamless balanced finish.
2015 Vulkangestein Trocken [09 16] (SFRO66215A)
From 30-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. There is an interplay of bright citrus fruit and minerals in this crisp, clear wine, which has a fine structure and a long, salty finish. Drink 2017 - 2020
2018 Bockenauer Schiefergestein (SFRO70218A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felseneck. At first impression creamy and rounded, but it is tautened by cool green fresh nettle flavours complementing the yellow fruit, and slaty citrus notes that lead to a long, dense flinty finish. Most growers would be proud to class this a GG.
2016 Bockenauer Schiefergestein [12 17] (SFRO70216A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felseneck. Flinty, perfectly poised and fine: this is easily at a GG level of intensity and elegance.
