2019 Felseneck Kabinett [14 20] (SFRO11219A)
Harvested on 20 September, here is another proper Kabinett: bright, featherlight and breezy, with a cool green fruit, exuberant smoky flint notes, lots of lemon and a creamy salty finish. Vital and very exciting.
2018 Felseneck Kabinett (SFRO11218A)
The first grapes to be harvested give a bright wine bursting with energy. It has a touch of yellow but consists mainly of cool, green fresh fruit with zingy citrus notes and a streak of smoky slate.
2018 Felseneck Spätlese (SFRO21218A)
35-year-old vines give a dense zingy, stony wine with floral fruit, a fresh green note, and almost effervescent lemon acidity.
2017 Felseneck Spätlese [15 18] (SFRO21217A)
Harvested two weeks later than the Kabinett from 35-year-old vines, this is zingy, cool and green with a lovely spicy mineral freshness and a flourish of ripe yellow fruit on the lemony finish.
2017 Felseneck Spätlese Goldkapsel (SFRO29217A)
As every year, the grapes were picked on the same day as the regular Spätlese, but from older 55-year-old vines in the steepest, south-facing part of the vineyard, giving an altogether more intense wine. There are dark smoky slate notes, clear bright citrus flavours and a cool green spicy finish.
2018 Felseneck Auslese (SFRO33218B)
A precise wine with no botrytis, this is bright and lemony with pure yellow and green fruit and a long clean salty finish.
2017 Felseneck Auslese (SFRO33217B)
50% of very clean botrytis gives richness, but not at the expense of freshness, which it has in spades. There is yellow tropical fruit and a lovely pure minerality that lasts forever.
2016 Felseneck Eiswein (SFRO54216B)
2019 Nahe Riesling trocken [08 20] (SFRO64219A)

2018 Nahe Riesling trocken [07 19] (SFRO64218A)
The ripe melon and floral fruit is full-bodied and intense, and is carried by lemony acidity, with a hint of musk and smoke on the long finish.
2016 Nahe Riesling Trocken [05 17] (SFRO64216A)
Made from young vines in top sites, this is powerful, rich and rounded, with a long vibrant finish.
2019 Vulkangestein trocken [10 20] (SFRO66219A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. It has all the finesse of a GG, with smooth citrus and red fruit notes, earthy mineral flavours and a long, cool, energetic finish.
2018 Vulkangestein trocken (SFRO66218A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. A cool green note freshens the rich floral fruit tinged with yellow, and there is bright acidity and a long complex hot mineral finish.
2017 Vulkangestein Trocken [09 18] (SFRO66217A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felsenberg and Stromberg. Loads of energy is this fresh juicy, mineral-driven wine that has ripe citrus fruit and a long creamy finish.
2016 Vulkangestein Trocken [10 17] (SFRO66216A)

2019 Schiefergestein [11 20] (SFRO70219A)
From 30-to-40-year-old vines in Felseneck. Brighter, denser and with more grip than Vulkangestein, it has breathtaking precision and energy, with a complex spicy smoky minerality, bright lemon flavours tinged with mint, and a very long fine flinty finish.
2018 Bockenauer Schiefergestein feinherb (SFRO71218A)
2019 Stromberg GG [21 20] (SFRO76219A)
The steep rocky volcanic soils of Stromberg are the site of the estate's oldest vines, half of them eighty-five years old. A bad hailstorm in June reduced the yields by half, and the resulting wine is all the more intense, with smooth juicy ripe citrus fruit, white peach, and an appealing fresh grassiness. The finish is bright, pure and incredibly long.
2018 Stromberg GG (SFRO76218A)
The steep rocky volcanic soils of Stromberg are the site of the estate's oldest vines, half of them eighty-five years old. Not surprising then, that the wine is intense, with a dry, smoky stone core, but balanced by intense yellow fruit, vibrant citrus acidity and a long fine salty finish.
2017 Stromberg GG [21 18] (SFRO76217A)
The steep rocky volcanic soils of Stromberg host the estate's oldest vines, with half over eighty years old. The wine is gentle, pure and seamlessly fine, with a dense core of energetic ripe yellow fruit, vanishingly fine smoky mineral flavours and a long juicy finish.
