2018 Frauenberg [13 19] (HARJ29218A)
At last Julian can fulfil his dream of a making a limestone Riesling. The Frauenberg can be divided into two parts: the higher level with pure limestone, the lower with redder soils; Julian has holdings in both, which were vinified separately and blended together. There are lean, pure lemony flavours from the limestone, and a melting richness from the red elements, culminating in a long linear, almost austere finish. A complex wine that will reward cellaring.

2018 Goldtröpchen [16 19] (HARJ30218A)
From 111-year-old vines adjacent to the Schubertslay vineyard. A rich, bright lemony wine tautening towards the finish as powerful stony flavours kick in. It is persistent and juicy, and will keep extremely well.

A beautifully lean, perfumed wine with focus and elegance. There is bright citrus acidity, generous herb-tinged fruit and a wonderfully pure fine minerality emerging on the long finish.
