2019 Im Obern Weinspar [26 20] (DENG32219A)
The well drained limestone-gravel soil prevents grapes from ripening too quickly, and the constant breeze in the vineyards keeps the wines fresh. This helps to explain that despite the very hot year, there are cool aromatics here â?? a juicy green note to accompany the yellow fruit. There is also a balancing fine dark salty core here too, and a long zingy pithy finish. A lot of wine for the money!
