2018 Marsannay En Ouzeloy (BOUV10218A)
Old vines on poor limestone soils give a floral, aromatic intense wine of great energy and lightness, a nicely judged tannic structure and fine mineral finish.

2018 Marsannay Clos du Roy (BOUV18218A)
Clearly the best vineyard in Marsannay, with sandy limestone-rich soils and sixty-year-old-vines, and there is talk of promotion to 1er cru status. An intensely floral red-fruit nose reveals extensive use of whole bunches, and there is a freshening effect from the very fine ripe tannins and chocolatey saline finish.

2018 Gevrey Chambertin La Justice (BOUV24218A)
There is balance and fluidity on all fronts here: rich, dark notes join the raspberry and cherry fruit, and there are fine tannins and an elegant, slightly salty finish.

Wine currently only available in bond.

2018 Gevrey Chambertin Racine du Temps Très Vieilles Vignes (BOUV28218A)
A surprising thing about Racine du Temps is that it is always drinkable. Another is that 90-year-old vines can produce a wine not only with intensity (which we expect) but full of energy and brightness (which we don’t). It is beautifully elegant and balanced, with clearly defined floral red fruit, lots of fine tannins and a very long black saline finish.
