2017 Ladoix 1er Cru La Corvée (GUIT30217A)
La Corvée is a warm south-facing vineyard on the site of a quarry, with pebbly limestone soils. The fruit is black, juicy and smooth, with a hint of menthol, and the tannins ripe. This is a complex wine: there is density and power here, but also freshness and delicacy, and the finish is long and lively. Guillaume maintains that this is his best wine in 2017, and we can but agree.

2016 Ladoix 1er Cru La Corvée (GUIT30216A)
A south-facing vineyard that always gives riper, darker fruit. This year the texture is dense, with powerful black fruit with a hint of liquorice, rich tannins and very good length.
