2012 Gevrey-Chambertin En Champs (GEAN16212A)
Very old vines produced barely anything this year. Dense and extremely ripe, it has a perfumed nose, and an abundance of black, smoky fruit which is saved from being leaden by a great concentration of vibrant fine tannins.

2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes (GEAN20213A)

2015 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes (GEAN21215A)
Sixty-five-year-old vines give a perfumed elegant wine that has delicate black fruit shot through with red. There is power and intensity too, and a long rich fruity finish.
2011 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Baudes (GEAN21211A)
2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Le Poissenot (GEAN22217A)
Poissenot is a narrow strip of vineyard at the top of the hill, between the Lavaut-Saint-Jacques and the treeline, giving mineral-driven, angular wines that have lightness and freshness even in very ripe years. This has black fruit with notes of smoke and jasmine, huge reserves of energy, chocolaty tannins and a lifted vibrant finish full of a stony heat.
2013 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Le Poissenot (GEAN22213A)
Very classy and fine, this is full of dense black fruit plus rounded ripe tannins and is shot through with mineral flavours. Fresh all the way through to a persistent finish.
2012 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Le Poissenot (GEAN22212C)
A perfumed nose of violets and blackberries is joined on the palate by more dark hedgerow fruits, melting juicy tannins and a very long, balanced finish. This is quite superb.
2011 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Le Poissenot (GEAN22211A)
Dense ripe black fruit, juicy and rich. Very fresh and fine on the palate, chocolatey tannins, and a sweet long finish. Beautifully pure.
2017 Charmes-Chambertin (GEAN40217A)
The cellar was cold. A snowstorm blew outside. My feet were freezing. And then I tasted this elegant, refined wine, with its poise, energy and freshness, and the world's petty problems faded: it bursts with black cherry fruit, and there are silky chocolate tannins and a seamlessly smooth mineral finish.
2013 Charmes-Chambertin (GEAN40213A)
Very dense, with masses of ripe fresh black fruit. This lacks the elegance of the Poissenot, but has power in spades, while still retaining focus and length.
2012 Charmes-Chambertin (GEAN40212A)
There is lots of power here, but astonishing finesse and elegance. Fresh, densely woven and silky on the palate, it finishes with a long dark-fruit and mineral flourish.
2011 Charmes-Chambertin (GEAN40211A)
Very big, and very silky, with a lovely sweet core of fresh dark fruit laced with spice and chocolate. Very ripe soft tannins. Long intense finish.
