Ripe citrus fruit, with earthy flavours typical of whites from the north, this has a lovely rounded quality and some weight, lifted by fresh, vibrant acidity that lends a pleasant juiciness. Very successful this year.
2014 Côte de Nuits Villages Rue Des Foins (FORN11214A)
From two parcels, one with ninety-year-old vines, the other with vines over fifty. This is dense and juicy, with darker, more concentrated fruit, intense fine tannins and a very long finish.
