2018 C?te de Nuits Villages (FORN10218A)
A rich deeply-coloured wine with a mass of sweet black fruit and meltingly ripe silky tannins, a dash of floral flavours, and a vibrant freshness running through to the finish.
2017 Cote De Nuits Villages (FORN10217A)
A very lovely wine this year with balance, ripeness and freshness; the fruit is juicy, spicy and pure, and there is a relaxed generosity that makes it very appealing.
2016 C?te de Nuits Villages (FORN10216A)
100% whole-bunch fermentation gives freshness to a dense, rich darkly fruited wine with rounded chocolatey tannins and a long fine finish.
2015 C?te de Nuits Villages (FORN10215A)
Very forward, it has layered ripe raspberry fruit, a lot of intensity, smooth fine tannins and a long balanced finish.
2014 C?te de Nuits Villages (FORN10214A)
100% whole-bunch fermentation gives a gorgeous lifted nose of raspberries, pure and vibrant, while the tannins are soft and there is gentle minerality on the long finish. Transparent, harmonious and fine.
2013 C?te de Nuits Villages (FORN10213C)
Ripe citrus fruit, with earthy flavours typical of whites from the north, this has a lovely rounded quality and some weight, lifted by fresh, vibrant acidity that lends a pleasant juiciness. Very successful this year.
2018 C?te de Nuits Villages Rue des Foins (FORN11218A)
From two parcels, one with ninety-year-old vines, the other with vines over fifty. Floral, spicy black fruit is underpinned by very fine pure ripe tannins and there is a racy freshness there too. A really good Nuits-Saint-Georges.
