2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières (CHAV24215C)
Intense and rich, the sweet pear and citrus fruit is lent freshness by the fine mineral power that forms the wine's backbone. There is juicy citrus and a hint of almonds on the finish.
2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières (CHAV24214C)
A fine, elegant wine, showing broad ripe flavours, with flinty, smoky notes and a juicy, very long, slightly salty finish.
2013 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières (CHAV24213C)
Floral, lemony and pure; this has great depth and a powerful mineral richness laced with vibrant spicy flavours. Intense and long.
2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles (CHAV26217A)
Lemony, fine and very intense, the Pucelles gets ever better. It is pure, bright and angular, the texture is silky, and there is a delicious interplay of bitter salty minerals and sweet ripe fruit on the long fresh finish.
2016 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles (CHAV26216A)
As the vines age, they are increasingly showing the complexities of this great terroir, this year in the form of vibrant floral notes, ripe pear and shades of yellow orchard fruit, underpinned by a powerful minerality.
2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles (CHAV26215A)
Fine, ripe and intense, with appealing pure mineral flavours and long citrus finish. Very classy.
2017 Chevalier Montrachet (CHAV40217A)
There is an appealing, relaxed elegance to the perfumed citrus fruit as it mingles with the fine angular mineral flavours. Everything is in place, everything correct: a beautifully balanced and delicious wine.
2015 Chevalier-Montrachet (CHAV40215A)
Elegance and ripeness rather than power to be found here. Floral, grapefruit flavours balance the very fine minerality, and the finish is juicy and persistent.
