2012 VOSNE-ROMANEE 'Les Chalandins' (CAMI30212A)
From vines in Flagey. Intense sweet ripe fruit dominates at first, but it quickly becomes apparent that underneath it is quite a muscular wine, even with a hint of mineral austerity at this stage. Tight, and needs time to settle down, after which it will be brilliant.

Made from biodynamically farmed fruit. It peeps out shyly from behind massive, chocolatey tannins. Very vibrant, fresh and long. A superb Clos du Roi, but one for the cellar.
2009 CORTON CLOS DU ROI (CAMI44209A)
A thick shell of fine tannins and minerals keeps the core of dense fruit from bursting across the palate. Towering and regal. Some years in the cellar and this will be very special. A very exciting wine.
2011 CHARMES-CHAMBERTIN (CAMI52211A)
From vines just below Chambertin. Bursting with seductive, racy red fruit, which deepens and lengthens on the palate, mingling with fine mineral flavours and supple tannins. Very elegant indeed.
