A new wine, from a vineyard just below Corton-Bressandes. Dark, bramble fruit with distinct pepper, chocolate and gamy elements. Rounded and deep, driven to a long finish by a vibrant minerality.

From vines next to Vougeot, and made with 25% whole-bunch fermentation. Bursting with energy, the beautifully elegant red cherry fruit, spice and violets combine with very fine mineral flavours and a juicy persistent finish. David Croix describes it as a femme fatale.

35% whole bunch fermentation. Full of vibrant energy. Very deep and powerful, with fine fruit, structured tannin and great length. Will be lovely after a good long wait.
2011 CORTON LE CLOS DU ROI (CAMI44211A)
Made from biodynamically farmed fruit. It peeps out shyly from behind massive, chocolatey tannins. Very vibrant, fresh and long. A superb Clos du Roi, but one for the cellar.
